### General Notes
Because Foundry has gone through several updates, certain modules that I have installed have been updated and no longer permit me to limit items as before. These page will provide you with the information that is permitted for this campaign.
##### Do's and Don'ts
- [ ] Please be sure to fill out the [Schedule Chart](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/150somobHiOB9bANx6m_rkNSex3q3vI0JwiP1I0wCluI/edit?usp=drive_link) and [Consent Form](https://forms.gle/9KBuTPDMGj9V9ZrFA) if you haven't already. This will make the campaign sessions easier to schedule and conduct.
- [ ] No overly detailed scenes will be presented by the GM. These include scenes such as gore, romance, sexual interactions, etc. Please be respectful and do the same whenever describing your character's actions.
- [ ] If at any point during the campaign you feel uncomfortable, please use the safe word: **HARD STOP.** The GM will respect your call and will pause the campaign to confirm what item(s) must be addressed/changed/omitted. This can include any character-specific decisions that the GM may describe.
- [ ] Although player versus player (PvP) is permitted, for narrative purposes please limit PvP circumstances to avoid character deaths. Using PvP to incite distractions for NPCs is permitted, as the combat is more for show.
- [ ] I do ask everyone to be respectful to each other. There's a difference between being silly in character, player teasing, and straight up name calling. If there happens to be any hostility or tension, I as the GM will enact a ***hard stop*** and address the matter. We will remain civil during this conversation and ensure that there are no hard feelings or unease. If a matter cannot be resolved immediately, the day's session will be ended early to give everyone time to rest
##### Rarity Traits
I follow the status rarity traits outlined in the Approved Sources, which include:
- [ ] **Common** elements are prevalent enough, at least among adventurers, that a player is assumed to be able to access them provided they meet the prerequisites (if any). Items with this trait can be selected without permission from the GM.
- [ ] **Uncommon** elements are difficult to access, but a PC can usually find them eventually with enough effort, potentially by choosing a specific character option or spending substantial downtime tracking them down. Unless given to you by the GM, you would need to ask if your character can obtain items with this trait.
- [ ] **Rare** elements are lost secrets, ancient magic, and other options that PCs can access only if the GM specifically make them available. This means that this cannot be selected by any player and is only provided by the GM (you can still make a request with the GM if it has plot relevance).
- [ ] **Unique** elements are one of a kind. The GM has full control over whether PCs can access them. Named NPCs are unique creatures, though that doesn’t mean their base creature type is unique. For instance, an orc named Graytusk is unique, but that doesn’t mean it would be any harder for a PC encountering her to tell she’s an orc—just to discern specific information about her. Items should not have this trait, but if this trait is present, treat it as the Rare trait.
### Approved Sources
Provided is a list of rulebooks that are permitted for use in this campaign. When selecting feats, equipment, spells, etc., you can set the filter system within Foundry to include these rulebooks if you wish to avoid [Archives of Nethus](https://2e.aonprd.com/) or are unable to use [Pathbuilder](https://pathbuilder2e.com/) (if you do use Pathbuilder, please notify the GM to ensure that settings are generated properly or schedule a Discord call to make the character sheet).

### [[Ancestries]]
Please refer to the linked note to see the list of [[ancestries]] available in the campaign. Any flavor-text present in equipment, feats, spells, etc. will not alter the available [[ancestries]]. Since the [[Tirpis]] are a NPC-only Ancestry, they are not available to players for use.
### Ethnicity / Nationality
Provided are the list of ethnicities and nationalities available in this campaign. Because this is a homebrewed campaign, all other countries, regions, and areas present in the PF2E system will not be present here. Please be aware that you are not obligated to set an ethnicity or a nationality; the option is being provided in case you wish to explore additional details for your character. Any flavor-text present in equipment, feats, spells, etc. will not alter the available countries:
- [ ] Jianese _(based off of the Chinese language branch)_
- [ ] Windsorian _(based off of the Germanic language branch)_
- [ ] Guiomarian _(based off of the Romantic language branch)_
- [ ] Hiranian _(based off of the Indo-Aryan language branch)_
- [ ] Maramian _(based off of the Semitic language branch)_
- [ ] Valyanese _(based off of the Slavic language branch)_
- [ ] Erdemian _(generally used for those who don't know or remember their origins)_
### [[Languages in Ascelia]]
Please refer to the linked note to see the available list of languages used in the campaign. Because of how [[Ascelia]] is developed, other languages cannot be selected outside of the given list. All characters will be given access to the Common language, which has been coined as Ascelian (yes, even characters that may hail from outside of [[Ascelia]]).
