#world #magic *** A select list of spells created based on the multiple variations of spells from multiple worlds and dimensions. Due to the nature of this magic being pulled from the 'memories' of [[Aumtra]], these spells are not capable of being learned externally; instead, they're learned instinctively. This causes creatures to lose some of their health when using these spells (the exact effect if effectively being drained for a portion of the character's strength). When setting numbers via the Pathfinder system, the spell enduces the Drained effect equal to a forth of the character level (minimum 1). - [ ] The draining effect does not apply to [[Liraz]] and [[Dakota Agnusdei]] due to their direct affiliation to [[Aumtra]]. [[Shai Khalid]] cannot learn or use these spells on his own, however this also means that he cannot be drained if someone tried to force him into casting a spell (or either Liraz or Dakota are sharing a body and cast the spell on their end). - [ ] ![[Aumtratic Magic.png]] - [ ] Because of how these spells are "learned", it's hard to properly assess how to gain these spells. Most [[Numittao]] and [[Piscele]] who have spells have theorized that the spells obtained are based on personality traits, but then other times a spell has been obtained to help the way forward. This unfortunately has not helped in determining a way to obtain specific spells in any way.
